I am aware how misleading that title may come across so I'll clear it up there IS a confirmation that there will NOT be a spring update to the 360's around the world. There is however a silver lining to this gloomy cloud. They have decided to turn their efforts to "building the proper infrastructure and scale for the service" which hopefully will mean faster gamertag downloads and the likes.
Also a big thing for myself is that Whitten confirmed Microsoft will be rolling out a change to their DRM policy this June that will allow content owners to re-license XBLA and XBLM content to a single console. This will make content available when disconnected from Xbox Live which will rock for me as I downloaded content on freekywiggles xbox to my hard drive unaware of this when I first purchased my xbox 360. So that means Crackdown, Spiderman 3 and Videos are mine once again. Lubly jubly
