Do We Want Another Movie Game?

To be honest, I don't know anything about the movie or the game. Would probably make sense to do some research before I post this but I can't be bothered. And to be honest, I don't know why people hate movie games so much! I mean, come on, most of them are good, and any that aren't, most of the time, don't have anything to do with the fact that it's movie based.
Ok, so The Hulk wasn't exactly a great game. But that was because of gameplay, not because it was movie-based. Same for Superman: Returns; the gameplay was too linear. It's an alright game, but the bad bits aren't 'cos it was based on a movie, it's cos it had bad gameplay. Star War Episode III Revenge of the Sith was a movie based game, and, quite frankly, it's one of the best Star Wars games ever made. Come to think of it, Star Wars is just a movie saga, so ALL Star Wars games are movie based! And they aren't all bad. They've had their moments, but they turn out good.
People think movie games are bad because the story gets changed. Sometimes, it has to be, otherwse it wouldn't work as a game. This is no reason to call it a bad game.
I don't know what to expect from this game. I've seen one video trailer based on the story, and it doesn't sound thrilling, but what I've seen of gameplay looks good. You can fly. Thats enough for me! It might end up as a Superman: Returns with levels. Which, to be honest, sounds quite appealing. Levels usually offer more diversity to gameplay than free roam in my opinion.
I think this game is going to be on my wish list, wheather as a quick purchase or waiting for a price drop I don't know yet, but I will definately be buying this game at some point.
